Description
Went to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival today, and I was quite disappointed. There weren't nearly as many as I expected, and the ones that there were didn't seem to be in very good shape. It has been a cold spring, so they may get better. I did get a few good shots; I especially liked these orange ones.

What a beautiful color, inside and out. I wanted to go to this festival but I didn't want to fight the traffic jam it creates so I stayed home. I'll just enjoy the tulip pictures you share with us.

We drove out to the tulip fields today and (nothing) except the daffodils were blooming!!! Tulips are very late this year due to much longer cold season... This is a beautiful image Dennis, be patient I think we'll get some nice weather soon!!! I hope!!!!!

What a gorgeous color! This orange/peach shade is one of my favorites. Love the pale edges. Wonderful macro!

The Wooden Shoe ( Klompen in Dutch) Festifal sounds very dutch to me!!, despite the fact that the roots for Tulips are in Turkey, a tulip is very typical Dutch too. A beautiful Tulip capture, a flower I like very much!!. The tulip are not yet blooming in the fields, except for a few small ones, over here in Holland, but we have some sunny weather now, but still cold and night frost, but it is still early in the year!!
