Landscape photographer born in 1983 currently based in Oxfordshire, England.
For me photography is about much more than simply making pretty pictures, documenting locations or capturing memories. It is also about developing a deeper understanding of the world around us and exploring it through a creative eye. Seeking out photographs encourages me to look deeper and truly see things I might only previously have noticed. To my mind a successful landscape photograph is one that transports the viewer into the scene and evokes the same sentiments as I experienced at the time of shooting. Through sharing my images I hope to be able to bring you with me, put you in my shoes, and show you our beautiful world the way I see it.
Thanks for taking the time to browse my images, I hope you enjoy my photography!

That's a beautiful view Adam. My compliments ;O)

Looks wonderful and one of the icons of Scotland.. An unusual POV most of the shots I have seen have been from the opposite side of the Kyle of Lochalsh

There is a great atmosphere still. Nice shot and work.

danob - I agree, the view from the other side is arguably the quintessential one, however we approached from this side and I only really had time to set my tripod up in one spot so this is the one with the panoramas and HDRs.... I do have another nice shot (which will probably become number III in this series) from the other side, though it's handheld and the light had started to fade..

marvelous pan and view.

I really like this and the stitch is wonderful. A fabulous look at this castle and bridge. You got the light on the hills inspite of the low clouds.

Most excellent ;)

I like the composition and the sky is fine but I think the castle looked a little better in the other image. A brighter castle would make it a little better in my opinion but it is also wonderful just the way it is. Well done!

have you posted this stuff before? (general area, that is) I have kin up there, the McLennans...howdy from the 'wrong' side of the pond here...;) Always wondered what it looks like, thanks.

nope, what I've posted you'll see in my small gallery - haven't been a member very long... this series of shots marks the furthest west in Scotland I have been (I live on the east coast), and was about getting out and discovering a few select spots on our dash around the highlands and a couple of islands..

I actually like this one a little better, but I've been told I'm more than a bit strange anyways.... Excellent capture!
