Description

In the land of "Figgle Waggle" lives the legendary Birdheads. Legendary you say......."what, you never heard of the Birdheads?" Awwwwwww, well, let me fill you in. Now for those of you whom do know of these small creatures from Figgle Waggle, please join me in humoring those who don't. First of all, Birdheads have no body...that's right, no bodies and there is a reason for that....you see, the female Birdheads can be very spiteful to the male Birdhead. Male Birdheads are really, if one thinks about it, stupid and inferior...(now hush ladies, we're talking about Birdhead creatures, not the human male)....LOL....anyway...eons ago even before humans roamed the earth the Birdheads were here...at that time they had stocky little bodies and beautiful wings....much like any other bird....but there came a drought in Figgle Waggle and food was scarce....so many died of starvation that the cackling females got together and decided something had to be done....they knew if they didn't do it, it would never get done because the male gender of the species were just too busy out doing male things....so one horrible day the female Birdheads got together and went out on a feeding frenzy, attacking the poor male Birdheads, leaving them with only their heads and beaks...with their bellies full they did the only right thing to do....they sewed and sticthed up the heads of their males.....but now came the task of teaching them how to move around...since the Birdheads are so light, it was easy for the wind of the island to carry them from place to place....but when there was no wind they could only sit there and they just lacked the common sense to try and learn another way...so the females taught them to bounce and to roll.....I tell you, it was a sight to see.....but even in the Birdhead community revenge shakes its evil head from time to time....Mother Nature was not too happy about how the females messed up one of her beautiful creations and decided fair is fair in love and war....one night, while the Birdheads were sleeping....she waved her magic wand over each female and softly chanted the following words...."From cave and desert, sea and hill....By wand, blade, cup and pentacle....I call you now, attend me...This is my will, so mote it be!" And poof...just like that, all the Birdheads of Figgle Waggle looked the same and have remained the same to present....alas though, it made the male Birdheads no smarter and the females are still spiteful, always following behind the males....why you ask....well, everyone knows that females are superior....geez.....just look around...LOL....and when the male Birdheads move too slow the loving, angelic female just gives him a peck on his backside with her beak to speed him up.... So if ever you journey to Figgle Waggle and you are lucky enough to see one of the little creatures, just tell them that Dave and Marlene sent you...they'll understand..... The birdhead in this image was created in fun by David Oblad and me as he was teaching me to build things in Wings during our lesson 2 days ago....LOL...I told you I'd figure out a way to use it Dave! God Bless and Blessed Be!

I gotta say that I loved your story. Very clever and great imagination. The scene that goes with it is also really outstanding. But I can't believe you actually used that silly Bird-Head from our Wings3D lesson. That's so funny. I do hope you get the hang of that modeling program. Will be sweet to see you make something nice like a small house. And not a Bird-Head-House...lol. Doing your own 3D modeling is quite the challenge and not very easy. Good luck and best wishes (with hugs of course) from Dave :^)
