Great shot, I tried so hard when I was a kid to convince my mom and dad I could keep one of these in our backyard, after all they weren't any bigger than a big dog!! They didn't go for it!! NICE camera!!

Well I kept quite and didn't tell anybody about the new thingy. Lol. Been waiting for the first upload with it though. I don't know about along the canal, I think he/she's been in the canal, and could well do with a blow dry. Cropped a bit tight on the back end, but other than that perfect. Superb capture, I hope you have a million more shots with your new camera. I know this was a somewhat belated Birthday present from you to you, so belated Happy Birthday mate. Bravo!!!!!

The Shetland Pony is a very headstrong breed. Just because they are small doesn't mean they are easy to deal with. When I was in equestrian training as a youngster, we were given an animal to take care of to learn what was needed if you owned a horse. I was given Lady Hamilton, a black Shetland Pony. She was an angel if you wanted to feed her or brush her, but try to check her hooves or turn your back to her and she would bite a chunk out of you. And I swear she laughed about it too! This is a wonderful shot and it really brought back a long forgotten memory.
