Description

Being an avid fan of trashy monster movies this appealed to my sense of humour. I've seen killer rabbits, killer sheep, killer chickens, killer pigeons, killer flamingoes etc etc--so why not killer cockies. Corellas are a medium sized Aussie parrot that congrate in large flocks--probably about 200 in this one. The curious Japanese couple in the pic went too close and the birds took off en masse with a great deal of noise--corellas have a loud screech. The couple weren't in any danger but were obviously frightened.

Very humorous! And great title. Wonderful capture at the right moment. How fortunate they decided to stir up the birds while you were looking on with a camera in your hands.
