Description

This guy is the dominant male of the group of kangaroos I photograph, and he is both big and mean. He's over 6 feet tall and would weigh in at around 90kg, perhaps more--a very impresive animal. Male kangaroos can be quite agressive and a guy this size could do some real damage--look at the leg muscles in the pic. This is his "don't come any closer or else " pose-- I didn't argue the point and used a zoom lens instead !!!

I didn't know they got that tall! Geez, I knew they could do some pretty nasty damage to folks, but knowing his size really adds to the overall picture, so to speak. Don't blame you for keeping your distance. He is quite the handsome fellow though.
