Description
This week features a weary, battle scarred mother just beyond the prime of her life. She had numerous open wounds on her side and it was also evident she was suckling, her cubs hidden out of sight. She is as vigilant and dangerous as can be despite her exhausted appearance. Sitting in the bush watching animals reveals many a story to the keen and watchful eye. I hope you enjoyed looking at this proud lioness.

the background is of interest, I seldom see mention of the condition of these big cats, our cats are of the garden variety, although there are wild panthers and pumas in England

Die Geschichte zum Foto der Löwin zeigt warum die Aufmerksamkeit nach zwei Seiten gerichtet ist. Finde die Ohrstellung richtig nett. Der Rahmen ist so weit in Ordnung auch mit dem kleinen Fehler - das Beste Copyright. Die Großaufnahme ist absolut sehenswert. The story to the photo of the lioness points why the attention is orientated to two sides. Find the ear position really nice. So far OK, the frame is also with the small fault, the best copyright. The full-size view is absolutely remarkable.

This is probably the most wonderful close up I've seen of lioness. You've really caught the essence of who she is; a mother, incredibley vigilant, highly suspicious, ever alert, and a survivor.
