Description

This is actually the first of Richardphotos Dallas Fort-Worth images. My model was postioned on a fake runway sized to the actual and then postioned so the runway masked the whole part of the image that was the runway by teetering. Then the fake runway was made invisible. Minor tweaks to the airplane alignment then led to this. The sun is for April 6.

Very, very nice work, Dale, I thought it was an actual photo until I saw the CARARRA tag. Then I looked a bit closer and saw the wires were not quite opaque, etc. Very impressive modelling, composition and lighting, my friend. I am sorry that American Airlines have had to ground aircraft for inspection, but that is for safety reasons, and although greatly inconvenient, can be forgiven. British Airways, on the other hand, opened their much vaunted, airline-exclusive Terminal 5, at London Heathrow Airport. It would not be fair to say that it had teething problems ( it was more like terminal dental abscess ) which led to the cancellation of hundreds of flights, and, to top it all, baggage being sent to Milan, in northern Italy, of all places, to be sorted before being returned to the correct passengers, some of whom came from, that's right, you guessed it, Italy, the very day they were returning to Italy.... Regards, John.

I like the presentation. But you should learn of Carrara's "secret" shader property known simply as "shadow catcher". Combined with soft shadows and indirect lighting, the fit would be that much stronger.
