Description

This is not a very good snap shot, it was taken with a cell phone and it was very small so I tried to enlarge it as much as I could in psp8.... Yesterday Anya was fitted with her brace to try and correct her hips, she must wear the brace 23 hours a day for 6 weeks...she can only wear clothes that are one piece...at the end of 6 weeks the doctors will run another ultra sound, if the hips are then corrected and back in place the brace can be removed....if not, surgery may be required. She is only 2 weeks old and this is all so sad....she hates the brace and cries so much...it is just heartbreaking to those of us who love her. I wanted to post the picture so you would have an idea as to what the brace looks like. The hearts were made by our very own propschick here at Renderosity. God Bless and Blessed Be.

Dont worry it will fix it, as her bones are soft at the moment, thank god they caught the problem now with my niece it took two years for them to figure it out.

Sad news, but cheer up, in most cases surgery is not required!! Hope she will forget this hard times soon! I´ll keep her in my prayers!

Anya has my thoughts and prayers for the best outcome. My sweet step-daughter had to wear braces due to cerebral palsy all through grade school. She still walks with a limp, but gets around well. She is leading a normal life, is married, gave birth to 3 gorgeous children and is a wonderful mom.

I think I've must have missed something Marlene, what is wrong with Anya's hips? Oh I hope and pray that these braces will work for her, she's so young, it just doesn't seem fair for her to have to experience this so early in life. I pray she doesn't have to have surgery.

I will say a prayer for Anya in the hpe that surgery will be avoided. I have seen this before a few times and often the braces do work, so keep thinking positive thoughts. hugs Jane xx
