Description

Spuistraat 274 (1898) Amsterdam On the corner of the Raamsteeg this so called "Duth Art Deco" building, a sober variation of the Art Nouveau/Jugendstil tendency. Build by architect G. van Arkel as a luxury Bakery. Its now a Croissantery, and the interior is still in original state. You had such a beautiful weather yesterday. Here (Neumarkt, Duitsland) it was rainy and smudgy. It still is and now I got this insatiable appetite for fresh croissants. Blame you.

Als geboren en getogen Amsterdammer doet het me deugd deze mooie plaatjes van de stad onder ogen te krijgen. Ik kom niet zo veel meer van huis en de laatste vijf jaar ben ik nog maar één enkele keer in deze stad geweest, naar een orgelconcert in de Oude Kerk. Je foto's zijn heel realistisch en onopgesmukt, maar ook heel fraai, ik hoop dat je er nog meer van in voorraad hebt.
