Description

This is Babs, an adorable female cat of about 2 years age. We saw this unusual kitty today while at an open house at the College of Veterinary Medicine at a local university. Babs is fine, checked out thoroughly and the large nose is the one she had at birth. The kitty was there for adoption, currently being fostered by a local rescue group. I guess this goes to show, whether our oddities show or not, it is the rest of us that makes the person or the animal. She was gentle and has very, very soft fur..a really sweet cat. I sent the photo to the rescue group and possibly they may use it to help find a permanent home for Babs.

You have made me feel better. We had a feral kitten we tamed and kept when it was 4 weeks old. When he grew, his nose grew faster! I always said he had a nose like a cassaba mellon! I thought I has some freak cat but now I see that he wasn't alone. This is one of those special cats and I hope she found a home quickly. Fabulous profile portrait.

Babs after Barbara Streisand? Sorry. Bad joke. She is a beautiful kitty, and I didn't even notice her deformity until you mentioned it. Such a soft beautiful gray. I hope someone finds her and will love her. A noble cause, indeed, my friend.
