Description

In 1929 a young spanish man named Jose' Paronella bought hectares of land in the north tropical rainforest of Australia. His dream was to create a magical place for the public to visit, theatre, ballroom, cafe, tunnel of love, waterfall, tennis court and picnic areas. Paronella Park was opened officially in 1935 with grand style, every thing was built by hand and workers hands and fingerprints. including Jose's, can be seen in the render work all over the parks structures. Years of cyclones and floods have taken their toll of this magical place, but it still survives and the dream lives on.... Movies have been made here also, including SNIPER,staring Tom Berenger and Billy Zane. I will show you more of this tropical retreat as it is today through the week ahead.

Sepia tone works so well on this Sue, gives it that 1930's feel, I too look forward with interest on your coming series. Great narrative; gives us a feel for the place before we have actually sen much of it. Superb capture and presentation. Bravo!!!!!
