A flower develops slowly enought that one can possess it's beauty in an unwarm way for a time. One can even wax and store it. A photograph mimics this.

Lovely flowers... geraniums are so cheerful and dress up a porch or yard so nicely. I like the brilliance the sun gives these fuschia colored ones. Have a good week, yourself, Harry!

I love geraniums the unusual perfume coming from them reminds me of my beloved grand-dad in the potting shed when I used to visit him as a child; geraniums were one of his favourite flowers. Every year since growing up I have planted them out for the summer, to bring back those happy childhood memories. It will be the end of next month here in my part of the UK before I will plant any young ones out, by then I will trust the weather more. Amazingly though this year I noticed some of the last years crop that were left in the ground over the winter are beginning to grow new shoots, so I am hopeful of a wonderful array in the summer. Thanks for the superb photo and refreshing childhood memories for me Harry, hugs Jane xx
