Description

Captured 4/14/08, around 7:45 AM, about 1.50 miles/2.414 kilometers from my humble haunt. This is a new one on me, but I'm confident there are some flora connoisseurs out there that can nail down the name of this species with little or no effort. It appears tiny little blooms are bursting forth from the ocean of buds at the end of its thick, long stalk, so perhaps that will aid in the identification of the plant. Thanks for the visit, and have a tremendously terrific Tuesday.

I say alium, as well. I bet Andrea could nail it down more specifically. Beautiful capture, my friend! The little bug is an added bonus. Nice! :)
