I was less than 2 inches from the flower and 2 feet from the bee.all of the shots of the bee it is flying thanks for viewing and any comments I have never mentioned looking at something in full screen, but I made this big so the bee can bee seen.after selecting full version hit the F11 key

Wonderful shots all dear Richard, I looked in full size. we had some large bumble bees here a few weeks ago then the weather turned again and they are no where to be seen! Hail stoning here as I type. No good for the gardens at all. We need some sunshine. Have a beautiful day. Hugs. Diane. xx

I looked at it in full screen Richard and these shots are unbelievable !!! Great captures here, I can't get over the clarity of the bee you managed to capture while he is in flight.

Superb capture. Glad to see that the bees still exist- their demise here in New England is becoming serious. A few bee-keepers I know are quite concerned. Mysterious malady is causing chaos. Excellent work, Richard!!!!!

It's so fun to see the bee big! Her head is covered with pollen, it makes me want to sneeze;-) My favorite is the shot showing the wing action, it really makes you think of what work it is to fly from flower to flower!
