Description

Dedicated to those who fish the Deep Sea and Coasts of our world in winter weather, to provide us with food. An attempt to create the 'nearly-ice' of winter water in Northern waters. A reasonably simple 1025x1025 terrain developed in Terragen, and using standard program items. It took 20 minutes to render, 3 minutes to set up. I was busy multi-tasking, and fighting a Vista machine that refuses to recognise picture files except in the Pictures folder of the Desktop. Whose stupid idea is that? Thanks, in advance, for all the views, comments and suggestions. Have a nice Spring ( if it has arrived where you live )... ;o) Regards, John.

It really looks like a 3 minutes Picture. Great job! But maybe next time you should spend 4 or 5 minutes to set up.

Try to set the gamma value in Render Settings / Options to a value around 1.00. This will give you brighter colors and reduced the washed out look of your pics. Just a tipp... :)
