Description

'The township's elders traditionally started and finished their midsummer boundary stone march-round at the oldest one, 'The Maiden', near to remnants of the Great Hedge. Legend has it that this curious standing stone marks the spot of a pre-Christian house for Wise Women, that was later taken over by a sister house of the Bridgetine Order. Secret spring rites were celebrated there as late as the Winter of the Three Kings...' ( extract from Hellaigh's Blue Book as quoted in the Dalriadan Chronicles ) ==== Composed in VUE 6 Infinite using the standard simple Terramat atmosphere from ChippWalters a Renderosity member selling in www.altuit.com; Martin Frost's Hedgerow set from the CORNUCOPIA store. This is 'martinjfrost' in the Renderosity store. Also used the Flowery Wheatfield from Linda Daireaux, an artist on Renderosity as FrenchKiss, but selling on CONUCOPIA as Linda_FrenchKiss ( www.incrediblylush.com ) and one of the old faithfuls, one of the incredibly useful stone textures from 'kore21' on RENDEROSITY ( aka Karen Verba c/o www.the-willow-grove.com ). ==== All comments and suggestions welcomed. Have a good week ahead, my friends, and watch out for low-flying inspiration. It will knock you on your back! ;o) Warm regards, John.
