Description

this is in Arlington,Tex. close to the stadium of the Rangers baseball. I went over there yesterday to see the construction the bottom right and the closeup of the frame work was shot with 500m lens and I was about 1/2 mile away.the top left is the very top of the bleachers. the top will slide open when it is finished. the owner of the cowboys is charging an unbelievable amount of money for seasons passes and only selling seasons passes.unless they change something one will not be able to purchase one ticket for one game.I would not go irregardless the arch is the largest arch in the world.see the link below for more information thanks for viewing and any comments http://stadium.dallascowboys.com/

Your photo reflects the beauty of architectural achievement with the greed of professional sports and ultra-big business especially. In times past football and baseball were people's sports, now you have to get tickets from a company/person that has season passes. When you get there you need a hundred bucks in your pocket if you want to buy the kids soda pop and hotdogs. Time for CHANGE, America.

Interesting documentation. The Cardinals just finished their stadium a couple of years ago. They didn't want to play in the open ASU stadium, despite the fact it holds 76,000. They needed a domed stadium, and they are a lousy team and Bidwell stinks. I can see a domed statium up north, but here in Phoenix the weather is almost always nice, maybe a little hot at the beginning of the season, but football players are tough. They not only charge outrageous prices, they implemented a Sports Authority Tax that taxes all rental cars, hotels and the like on top of the regular taxes!
