Description

Coming toward the end of shots from the road trip (at least ones which I'd consider interesting enough in some way to post here), maybe only 2 or 3 more I reckon. Some nice new ones of St Andrews to come after though as I went out yesterday to the town's highest accessible vantage point for the first time since being here... This shot was taken about 5 minutes before Nature's Path I, under the canopy of a small forest and a short while after sundown, just before the light totally faded. We were just wandering about to stretch legs before hoofing it back down towards Glasgow, and this effectively made for our last photo opportunity before re-entering civilisation. I knew the bad light wouldn't do much for the surrounding scenery but would blur the water nicely, and that was really all I was thinking of when taking this shot - to keep the camera steady and give the water a smooth effect. I warmed it up a little with postwork, and placed the image on a canvas texture.. hope you like =) Adam Av: f/22 Tv: 15 sec ISO: 100 Focal length: 50mm
