Description

Hey y'all, I'm back, movin slow, soundin like a crazy beach girl who's spent a week in the south!! Yesterday was nutz, took an unexpected detour thru Charlotte, North Carolina (my fault!!), that was the first flight. The second was 4 hours from there to Phoenix, the third was almost 2 from there to San Jose. I'm still not home, but at least I'm in California!! This is a foto taken by my great and good friend from Atlanta, the day we went to Savannah and out to Tybee Island, Georgia. My first look at the Atlantic, and I was surprised at my reaction ~~ I was moved in a way I didn't expect. Thanks for all your wonderful comments on the writings I've posted; what an incredible community of people there is here on RR!!! You all ROCK!!!!

Hail friend and well met ... I could get to the Atlantic and shout, "Hi Marilyn!" though I doubt you'd hear me. Great picture. Mike

Great capture of you there, Marilyn. Yep, that's where all of the hurricanes we get here on the East Coast come from.

Oooh, a great capture and in a way it's how I picture you in so many ways; in legend, there's the Lady of the Lake...but over there in the US...there's the Lady of the Ocean! This image captures that. It's fantastic; the sense of scale and color is wonderfully crisp and clean, wonderfully clear! I look forward to hearing more about your trip, and your unexpected detours.

I tried to wave to you from Blackpool Tower but Ireland was in the way. Lol. Beautiful blues in this shot Marilyn, I hope you're not feeling too blue after your holiday. It's good to have you back though. Sunshine hugs for you xx

I have stood and faced the Atlantic, waded in the Gulf of Mexico, meditated over the cliffs of the Pacific and walked the beach of Lake Erie. I've been in all corners along the way. Its a fulfilling feeling! a wonderful shot with uplifting emotion.
