Description

Old Mill ruins at the Norden area of Rochdale. We have past this old ruin a number of times and I must have taken a few shots each time. On this walk/trail we were to visit the Three Owls Bird sanctuary but we were too early and later the weather turned bad, heavy hail-stone, luckily we just made it to the Pub, The Brown Cow!

Excellent shot Alan, I'm not familiar with this mill, you will have to tell us where it is, it looks quite interesting. Now the Brown Cow is a different matter, that place I am familiar with, well I used to be, I have sunk a few pints more than a gallon in there I can tell you. Shame about the Three Owls, but happen as well it did come down rather hard, I was out shopping with Pauline. When we went into the supermarket it was sunny when we came out to load the boot, the hail was lashing my poor bald head and stinging my ears. Superb pov for this, were you stood in the river? Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!5+++++

Wonderful place! Very romantic! In my fantasies Robin Hood comes away in this moment. When this stones could talk! A wonderful bridge. The arch must have seen many floods, but it seems unsinkable! Thanks for sharing.
