Description

This model was a gift to me from a friend of mine named Thomas Phong. I've built my own versions of this ship through the years, but I enjoyed rendering his version very much. My most recent one isn't as nice as his, and was built waaaayyyyy back in the early 1990's in 3d Studio DOS 2.0. This ship is clean and looks very accurate to the show. The model was an early version of his, and required a little cleanup. I'm still working on the bridge section windows, but other than that, she's perfect. :) "Second star to the right, and straight on till morning!"

This model is circa 2000-2001 or so, but I played around with it a little this year. I had almost nothing to do 'to' the model. I played with the windows a bit, and a little finishing to the maps. But the ship is just great, and she'll be flying in a fan film pretty soon, with any luck. :)

Need some hull plate texture mapping to help scale the ship. Other than that it looks real accurate.

yeah, and if you find a hull plate texture that looks right, let me know. This is a lot better than mine (but hey, all I've got is Wings...;), it's sort of one of those things people model sooner or later.
