Description
Indian Paintbrush are as much a part of spring around here as the bluebonnets. They are often seen together, but this spring there are hardly any of either. Must not have gotten rain at the right time last fall. I will probably be offline for two or three weeks... will be out of pocket with no internet access for a few days, and I think my pc is just about dead. It took 12 tries to get windows to start today, with chkdsk and system32 failures and other things that are greek to me! Will try leaving the pc on for a couple days and not turning it off, but am not expecting great things. Will miss my daily RR time, y'all are practically like family! Thanks for your views and comments and kind support, and see ya'll when I can get a new computer setup.

It's good to see one more gorgeous image before you're yanked offline. Hopefully your computer woes are resolved soon and you're back. As for this image, it's a fantastic and warming capture; it's definitely a great one to leave us with so that we can anticipate your return!

Great shot. I love the color. Good luck with the computer thing. I'm lucky when I have those problems. I just say "Honey, something is wrong with ... " And my super smart hubby has a solution.

How sad! I will miss you so much! I'll think good thoughts and see if something unexpectedly wonderful happens for you. :-) I love the paintbrush as much as the bluebonnets. I noticed this year, as you mentioned, it seems like there aren't as many as there once was. This is a great ocmposition and a stellar macro.

Wonderful capture Maria, great DOF, and I hope that you get the computer woes sorted, ny best wishes that you can, I am not an expert in these matters, but have you traed a system restore?, maybe this may fix the problem, taking it back to a point before the trouble began!....This capture is wonderful, I know I said that twice, but it is!
