To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Everyone knows digital art isn't really "real" art cause its way so easy anybody can do it! Just ask anyone who doesn't do digital art how easy it is! My cat likes mice, but never got the knack for using a mouse or a tablet. But does that stop him from doing art? No way, when I use to paint on canvas, if I didn't keep an eye on him he'd dip his paws in the paint and make all sorts of pretty pictures all over everything. Really great abstract art at that. In fact, I should have just laid the canvas on the floor and let him have at it. I probably could have sold his work to all the major galleries! Mine, well it wasn't near as good. But then everyone knows how hard "real art" can be. Which is why I do digital images and leave the real art to folks more qualified, like my old cat, boy I miss him! :O)

Yeah, can be confusing at an art show to see digital stuff... "Hey, nice frame you're using there...". "Oh that's just my 23" flat sceen monitor... I use that one all the time...". "Great frame!". Anyway, nice work. I love that chicken wire glass.

How refreshing to see that the art world is finally catching up to the rest of the world. I once read an artist lamenting in the magazine "Architectural Digest" that snowmobiles and modern cars and stuff like that had no place in art. I'm sure that stodgy (and probably now dead) guy would be beside himself to see...ugh...digital art in a showing. Oh well...his loss. As for this image! WOW! I love what you've captured here. It has a kind of strange, dystopian science fiction vibe to it, rather like something I'd expect to see in Aeon Flux or something like that. It's an amazing piece of work! I love the colors and the overall emotional vibe of this piece. It's also going straight into my favorites!
