Description
Galahs may live in flocks but males and females form lifelong bonds--if one dies, the other takes on a new mate, but otherwise they stay together . The couple here are probably a permanent pair, male on the left and female on the right(females have red irises, males are brown). Galahs make excellent pets-- intelligent and affectionate.

Beautiful capture, a flock look great on the wing and when they are landing due to the flash of colours, Great.

Wonderful closeup - really shows the detail. I can even see the female's red iris. It's nice to see a female bird that is as pretty as the male.
