Description

Hi all, I've not been feeling too well last two days (basically my head had got a bit overloaded if that makes any sense and I have to take time out). I noticed a few days back a shot of Mt. Etna, an amazing upload from Sig.(Junge1) This reminded me of an old holiday snap I took of Antony my son walking up an extinct volcano here on Fuerteventura. Not half as exotic as Mount Etna! The picture was taken back in 1995. Fuerteventura and Lanzarote are two small islands belonging to the Canary Islands. The photo was taken with 35mm film using a Canon SureShot and later scanned.

Wow! Look at all those rocks, I'm on the next plane out of here. Lol. Excellent capture Alan, I won't say it's a great place because its as barren as they come, but it is a great photograph of your son for one thing, and thre rim of the Volcano for another. Fond memories. Hope you are feeling better soon, I know what you mean and it does make sense to me mate. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

The crater is really pronounced and the rusty color in the rocks is really interesting. I understand all too well what has you feeling off. I find daytime naps seem to help. And not eating after 7 p.m. :-)

Excellent capture Alan. It shows the same barrenness as Mt. Etna and it also shows a crater in the background. Doesn't it give you a weird feeling walking around on top of a volcano? One never knows what could happen. Nice scan, Sig...
