Description

This was taken up stream from the main falls of Turner Falls Park, this is Honey Creek, I was told it got its name because the water is sweat to the taste. I had chose Turner Falls to complete an assignment for a photography class that IÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½m taking, my second of three. I set up on this ledge about 6:10 AM Sat. morning with a tripod took a few shots then wondered around the mountain for a little while, came back here just as the sun was beginning to break over the horizon. This shot was taken about 7:25 AM. Just over the ridge to the right is a camping and picnic area, a few cabins that you probable would need to rent several months in advance to get one. After the campers had a chance to wake up, I moved over the ridge and further up stream for a few more shots, I have to tell you breakfast was beginning to smell pretty good and no one invited me to eat so I headed home for breakfast and to mow the yard. Very nice shot. I love these colors. You're a lot more leafed out than we are, but I guess I should expect that, especially since we had snow yesterday.
