Description

morning all :o) i`ve always loved flowers and yet until i started taking pics seriously i never bothered to look inside to see what made them tick ,only admire the colours and form and how well they looked in displays .what i also find fascinating is looking straight in to a flower the stamens on a tulip are`nt as noticeable as when you look side on as in this pic .the flower has only just opened so there is no pollen ,i just peeled the petals back gently to reveal the workings :o). have a great week and thanks for looking .take care mick

An almost clinical approach Mick, that seems to have paid off, I was the same myself, I never really appreciated flowers or took much notice until I joined RR. It was an eye opener for me, looking at other peoples work indepth as it were, changed my outlook on quite a large front. Excellent macro, it's like six soldiers guarding the Queen, fabulous vibrant colour tones from black right through the spectrum to white. Only one critisism I think the yellow frame is a bit of an overload, there's that much of it in the flower. IMHO Superb work. Bravo!!!!! I have just noticed no green, maybe that for a border?
