To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather

Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

I have already settled it for myself so flattery

Amazing picture Mina. Very different from you usual style. Part of it has a pastel and water-colour look to it. Looks very cool. And i must applaude its cause. Reduce - Reuse - Recycle. Wise words :) Humans has been polluting mother earth, way too much, in way too many years. But unfortunately with humans it is the same old story :) They wont learn until it is too late........SMUCKS #:oD PLAY BALL! Great work.

(another foray into earlier your work)...This is really beautiful mina, you have true watercolor feeling here, and also oil (the dappling of your colors in laid-on layers, the sense of near-impasto, etc). Beyond that, your hues are luminous like they're glowing from within, the brook scene is realistic but filled with lights & orbs, you have no fear of dappling bright violets into the piece or dabs of peach & orange, and the greenery has the feel of late Monet lilies & bridges, only passed through the illumined chambers of your soul. A beautiful tribute to the Day, and so nice to see you paint a forest scene & then douse it with your inner vision. Beautiful, exuberant & a celebration. And another fav...
