Sir Tavi Delgado tossed his turban aside and said pleadingly to his wife, "Anya! Please! Our son, Toffet just came back from the dead! You can't mention damnation just like that!" Toffet noticed Kella's ears twitch as she clenched her fists. Toffet bowed to his mother and said between clenched teeth, "MOTHER. I mean, Beloved and respected mother--this is my new wife, the love of my life. I want to have her welcomed into the family by you and..." Toffet's mother exploded, "My son would never ask such A THING to be WELCOMED! This creature is UNCLEAN in the sight of god! Just because it is 'comely' form doesn't make it any less of a sin to copulate with than ANY other animal!" Kella couldn't hold her tongue any longer. "SHUT THE FUCK UP, BITCH! Kella went to the door and stopped for her new husband, Toffet, to join her. After a moment, he joined Kella and put a hand on her tight shoulder. With sad, defiant eyes, he glared at his mother. Toffet said with anger,"As I say farewell to you for the last time,Mother--think on this. There are ALIENS from another star in orbit above our world RIGHT NOW? Where is the difference THEY'LL see between them and us, and KELLA'S PEOPLE? Any or none? Eh? Good by ,mother. You'll never see me again." Toffet took Kella's hand they stalked out the apartment, without a look back. After a long moment of embracing each other, Sir Tavi Delgado of the mystic Knights pushed away from his wife of thirty years and headed for the door. As he picked up his turban, he said with tears in his eyes,"I'm going out to drink. My son died and came back to life and now YOU made him dead again in my eyes. Again. I may not come back.
