Description
SURPRISE! I'm not leaving after all....I'm going to California....As most of you know Dave Oblad has been my teacher in Bryce...we've been friends quite awhile now....have spoken on the phone numerous times, exchanged emails and here recently talked a bit more about ourselves rather than just our art....well as they said in the movie The Godfather...Dave made me an offer I couldn't refuse....I'm leaving Ohio early saturday morning and I'm driving to California to be the house guest of Dave and his wonderful Mother....I will be living there with them and time will tell what will happen later down the road....I am so excited people....I mean really excited!!! Now I know this image doesn't look like California but hey, I was in a hurry...LOL...
Not only am I excited about spending time with Dave and seeing if our relationship will bloom, I'm totally excited about spending time with his Mom....I've been so blessed....and I couldn't be happier....so, I'll be back....big smile....
I want to thank each of you for your wonderful emails to me...hearing you each say how much you would miss me brought tears to my eyes...I love you all!

When I was younger, I believed all the artists who wanted to be someone had to go there...Been there once... They have mountains and the ocean... Good Luck... Drive Safe... Take plenty of money for gas - gas sucks.

What... You actually thought I was going to let you leave Rosity that easy, Marlene? Somebody had to stop you! Now.. the instant you get here we'll start on Poser! Ok..Ok..Ok.. just kidding.. I'll wait till you use the bathroom first... Seriously, Mom and I are looking forward to having a new house guest. We both want a companion and we can't stand each other..lol (I have such a hard time being serious) Let's try that again.. Mom and I are looking forward to this and I can't wait to show you Southern California. We have everything around here and seeing it all through your eyes will be like seeing it again first time. Know what I mean? Of course, we'll be keeping you so busy, you might as well say farewell here anyway...hahahahah. Oh! Excellent image as usual.. but where are our palms? I did see a moose a few years ago not far from here. Up in Big Bear crossing the road at night. I almost ran over Bullwinkle. If folks want to know.. We live 60 miles east of L.A. This just goes to prove that R'osity is a closer-knit community of artist friends than one might think. I'm glad for you, Marlene and like I said to you, God will provide. This is very colorful and beautiful Marlene. There's my Fuschia. Wonderfully written. I am getting so excited to go shopping and do so many things, I don't know where to begin. We are preparing the closets and dresser drawers for your things. We have my bath and everything in it you will need. I hope you are not alergic to a cat. Tiny, of course, you will love. You will have your own TV and a remote control all your own. Please be very careful on the roads coming down. There are so many rotten people out there, they could take advantage of you. You call every day, so we can put a pin on the map, so we know where you are, at all times. If you get lost coming into ST. Bernard, call and we wiil come after you, and lead you home. Love ya lots.
