My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Very wow indeed! This wood is speaking to us, and I wish I knew the language better! What tales this wood could tell!

This is an excellent capture that reminds me of the stranger days of my childhood, when I used to raise colonies of woodlice (they're neither wooden, nor lice, but they got that name anyway.) I used to go out and collect pieces of rotting logs as both home and food for those creatures, and even now, I have an abiding fondness for them. This image reminds me of their handiwork, though they tend to make more of a stripped, swiss cheese sort of texture. Anyway, this image is fantastically detailed and I love the richness of the natural colors.
