morning all :o)
can anyone guess what this is a close up of (i know).was playing about outside between the showers and now i know i would really love a true macro lens .the background this is on is a aluminium plate on the wall what my hose fits on ,i just placed the buds against it to see what effect i could get .i liked how it turned out .i know there is a few that love this shrub and its scent me included .i have a shot of this flower taken with my old d40 last year in my gallery :o)

I say it is definitely the Lilac as you gave a huge hanging clue with the mention of scent. :-) Its gorgeous and the postwork is lovely giving it a sugared look like those sugared fruits you get during the holidays.
