This little chaffinch was shot from the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall area at Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, North Wales, after we had taken a few hundred shots of the waterfall and surrounding area and had gone to the nearby restaurant/bar that overlooks the falls. There were a lot of these little guys flying around trying to get the last few crumbs of cake or sandwich that had been left by the customers and they didn�t seem to be wary of people much at all.

Stunning little Chafinch! The colour and the clarity are both superb, I love the effect of the Depth too. A few days ago while out locally round Healy Dell we saw a couple of Jays. didn't get any clear shots though.
