Description

Large version as requested from yesterday's upload. This was made from a black and white 'doodle' sketched during a very boring conference address, which was then scanned and 'played with'. ................................ The doctor confirmed I have Ball's Palsy, and warned me it would last 'a few weeks' [Thanks!] I have to have eye drops because my left eye only closes about two-thirds. Comments will, sadly, have to be sparse. My mirror tells me I could successfully audition for the part of Quasimodo! Vanity, thy name is Mike [so shut up, man!]

Beautiful image, Mike, the larger version gives so much more detail. Sorry to hear about your illness; a friend of mine had it once and yes, it does go away. She could've been your twin, though of course she wasn't laughing at the time. Take good care, my friend.

YES! The larger image works and such beautiful work it is. Rest that eye and follow the doc's orders! Men with patches on their eye are most intriguing looking! :)

I concentrated more on what you wrote yesterday than the image itself, but it is a beautiful work you have made. Don't worry about commenting on our stuff! We like your art, poetry and prose because it is a reflection of who you are. A wonderfully talented and beautiful soul! Take care of yourself! Get well. Lea

I just love this one. The colors are so understated and complimentary to each other. The feelings of a gathering storm in ever sense. You may have 'doodle' sketched' it during a very boring conference address, but guess what! It's one of my favorites!

Has some of the ambience and quick gloss of an enamelware sign.

Soch a huge moon gives a nice dramatic "tele lens" effect. Van Gogh and many other painters applied it.
