Description

I was wandering around the yard this afternoon, with my camera, of course, when I saw these two tulip petals that had fallen from the flower, very recently, I would guess. I almost move the one on the left, because it's not as nice as the other one, and it's facing down instead of up, but decided to just shoot what was there. As I was processing it, selective color seemed to work, so here you have it. Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit, and for any comments you might leave.

The petals are sure pretty. I like the selective coloring since it really makes the tulip colors pop out at us.

Interesting capture, like a "footprint" of the tulip, it was there, who know where it is now perhaps deeper in your garden.

Love the selective coloring. I noticed the petals, the composition, the light, the color, BEFORE I noticed you'd done selective coloring on the image. So I agree -- great choice! I love being able to see both front and back together. Cool capture!

Wow! What a good eye you have! This is superb. I like that you left it as it fell. At first glance there seems no difference, but looking closer you discover the differences in texture and shape. Lovely :)

The selective coloring is wonderful. It accents the wood grain and brings out the petals. A wonderful combination. Outstanding work.
