Description

This was shot last October on the way to Tamanawas Falls on Mt Hood. The shutter speed probably should have been a little bit slower, but I think this was hand-held, and there are limits LOL. I liked the bit of color that the Alder leaves added. Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and for any comments.

Beautifully captured. I like this shot the way it was exposed Dennis. To me, any more exposure would make the water lose its detail, but that is just my taste, Sig...

This is really pretty with the water, rocks and the alder leaves. I like the water ...looks fine to me but then you know how much I don't know about shutter speeds. My point and shoot works fine for me.

I love the affect you got on the water. It really makes it soft and inviting in spite of the obvious power. The leaves, I must agree, add so much to the shot - the color is a real bonus. Amazing capture.

I'm always impressed by silky water effect, and the yellow leaves are the finishing touch in this excellent capture!! (Holland is to flat for waterfalls!!LOL!!) I will need to go elsewhere in the future to try silky water my self!!!!!!!! .......... Have a very nice evening Henk

This is beautiful! I will have to try that slower shutter speed sometime, and it seems my camera won't let me. ;o) I'll get it figured out someday!! I do like the color the leaves give to this. Most excellent!!!
