Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Great photograph ... though I'm not sure how I feel about the art exhibit itself. Mike

Interesting artwork. I wonder how many trees it took to create that maze. I suppose it could be from residual timber.

Interesting stuff. I wonder how many people actually tried or attempted to go thru those blocks. Kewl. Aloha

I have seen a shape similar to this in a greek pattern, a scroll work around the edge of something, I can't quite remember but it is familiar to me. Ah well it will most probably come to me in about a weeks time.lol. Excellent capture Marilyn, a bit of a waste of wood but your take on it is great, a very warm image, the wood has a golden glow to it. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

They have created an amazing, no pun, there, structural work of art. And a great capture, Marilyn.

Ok, to me, it just takes up space. It has not function, it is not very practical artwork to have in your house, you can't use the maze, and it would be hell to dust it and clean the floor in the spaces that run through it. Pretty or not, it could only be shown off in a museum or community hall. I'd have to cut one side out and put some seats in there, something... Great shot of this curiosity.

Wonderful POV, textures and shades of red and orange dominate this excellent photo of Marilyn's labyrinth.

Just keep turning left on the way in, and right on the way out, and you should be okay. :) Cool capture!!

Oooh, I like this image! The color is brilliant, and you've captured the environment of the place quite well. Great work! Hmmm...I wonder if it's too small to go into if you squeeze yourself in sideways?
