Description

I made it to California and I'm here with Dave and his Mom and very happy....the 2,000 mile trip went very well until I hit the state that should have been called "The Land Of Disaster"....the roads, the heat, the lack of exits for gas, lodging and food was just horrible...the people, when one saw people, were very friendly but I never want to see New Mexico again...LOL...sorry if you live there....Anyway...the most beautiful site I did see a long my trip was Flagstaff, Arizona....along 40West there in Flagstaff is a place called Walnut Canyon....I was in complete awe my friends...just a breathtaking place....I tried to recreate part of it here but I'm far from re-creating the beauty that canyon held...look it up on the internet if you've never been there, it's by far one of the beauties of our world, I someday want very much to go back and see it again.... Dave is taking me site seeing this week end here in California...I'm looking forward to that....his street is just beautiful...palm trees everywhere.... And my sisters of Renderosity who know Dave....if you're wondering if he looks as good in person as his pics....HEH....He looks BETTER....and his Mom is a sweetie....They are wonderful people and I love being here with them.... Wow, another gorgeous image Marlene. Wished I could have stayed home from work and watched you build it. Yeah.. folks, Mom and I were on pins and needles for three days while Marlene traversed the whole U.S. Continent. Then she broke down in New Mexico.. middle of the desert.. fortunately, it was a belt and pulley. She was back on track in under two hours. She had no air conditioning and came across the Mojave Desert mid-day in 105 temp ranges. Brave girl she is! But she made it safe and sound, just a sun burn, should heal fast. She is settling in and we got her PC hooked up first thing. She usually only see's hills and is facinated with real mountains, so this weekend we are going up to Big Bear, maybe horse back riding. So.. all's well on the home front. And I didn't even crack one single joke here.. amazing.. Bravo Marlene on image and everything. Hugs from Dave :^) P.s. And if it's true that I look better in person than in my Pics.. It's only because I'm better at personal touch-up than with Paint Shop Pro...lol. (whoops I blew it.. can't resist a bit of humor)

It is so cool to read something as cool as this - two artists meeting from our renderosity site - it is even better to know you are safe and sound. You didn't mention Colorado... If you drove through here, you could of met eekdog and me - lol - I probably would of missed you though either working, giving plasma, sleeping - lol, no, sometimes I get to be home. flagstaff, I heard of it, but I don't think the one I'm thinking of is in Arizona. Cool picture - it looks like a great place to put a golf course.
