Description
Brachiosaurus, meaning "arm lizard", was a genus of sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic Period, Tanzania,Africa. It was named thus because its forelimbs were much longer than its hind limbs. One of the largest animals ever to walk the earth.Brachiosaurus was around 25 meters (82 feet) in length and was probably able to raise its head about 13 meters (42 ft) above ground level.Weight is in the range 32 tonnes to 37 tonnes. Brachiosaurus was fully cold-blooded or was a passive bulk endotherm (or gigantotherm).
Brachiosaurus nostrils were long thought to be located on the top of the head.New studies show that, while the nasal openings in the skull were placed high above the eyes, the nostrils would still have been close to the tip of the snout ,the tall crests of brachiosaurs supported some sort of fleshy resonating chamber.

it's a good thing that teradacktil (I know, the spelling is off) was further out of site or else these dinos would be eat'n it alive.

They must have been an awesome sight, superb modelling and texturing once again. It's a strange thing, my son is nine and a typical boy, playing army, shields and swords, falling over etc. Anyway we watched Jurassic Park and I asked him which was his favourite dinosaur, expecting the Rex, Raptor or maybe the one that spat at the programmer and he said this one, I nearly fainted ;,)
