i never saw this until i nearly fell over it ,its amazing what you find on the beach .i`ve ended up with a lovely bruise on the side of my head just beside my eye ,june says she`s going to put little cushions on the door frame at head height so that the old duffer does`nt knock himself out lol :o)
sorry about not getting round to you guys yesterday ,everytime i sat down to look the phone rang. my little sister`s coming up to see me so she was on the phone for an hour and then my younger brother is getting married in june so he was on the phone for a good while getting arrangements sorted out .its all happening at once .

If no one claims it, I'll take it. :o) I'm fixing up some old bikes now. I'd like to give them to homeless people that need free transportation to look for a job. Excellent find, and image. I hope your noggin is feeling better. I think foam padding at all door jams is in order in your house.

WOW...there are so many ways to see this image. I love the humor of a cryptically buried bike...of course it's probably just abandoned, but oh...the stories that the image alone conjures! There's also a strange sort of post-apocalyptic sense to this as well, that coincidentally reminds me of a Haiku by the poet Basho (I think.) Anyway in that haiku, he used words that captured a moment similar to what this picture shows...I love that coincidence, especially since this image has such intrigue (and a hint of pathos) within it.
