A Dutch good friend introduced me to R'osity... and now, I really feel good in this community : I enjoy a lot your friendship and comments !BIOWith a few exceptions (indicated), I'm using a simple CANON Digital IXUS i... Sometimes, I do some postwork using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, but I just installed Adobe PhotoShop 7.0...
But now, after having seen all these beautiful shots, I just bought (Nov 2004) myself a new camera : NIKON 70 D !
I'm a chemist, leading a small R&D team in polymers (My greatest pleasure is to stimulate creativity...) I'm also studying to become a patent attorney...
I'm living in Belgium and enjoy travelling, hiking (going out every week-end is a vital must !), reading (my French preferred authors are Marc Ly, Jean-Christophe Grang Amie Nothomb,...), music (great fan of US female voices : Jennifer Warnes, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, ...) and ... photography ! :~)
Bien cordialement aussi aux amis francophones !

The subtle bits of the stone texture are wonderfully captured. The whole composition is nicely seen. Great capture of details.

It's a splendid fountain, Rome is such a lovely place! Great details my friend ;O)

Excellent image! I often wonder what inspired the sculptors of this era to carve exactly what they did. I know they are representations of gods etc, but a bloke dribbling for eternity is hardly attractive when you think about it!

quel souffle !! :)))) belle lumière.

Impressive for sure. I Roma i had always my best ideas. There are a few places i loved to be. Like the Colosseum. Has some great quit places, but the last time i was there it was closed because they worked on it. And Villa Borgehese.
