Description

It's the first manned mission to Mars in a brand new space craft design. Yep, we've finally managed to get there. They were hoping, however, that the huge dust storm circling the planet would be abated when they arrived. Unfortunately, it's just getting started. Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting. Space craft modeled by myself using Bryce primitives and quite a bit of mat tweaking. This was a 5+ hour render time with a dual-core processor. Bryce, resized, sharpened and signature with Paint.Net Stop by www.amazingfantasies.com and ArtNutz.us for more of mine and many other artists works.

This is amazing, the textures on Mars is superb and excellent modelling of the spaceship. I only wish I could be around when the first man sets foot on Mars, and they will. Excellent space image Keith!

fantastic ship and planet, looks like you captured the Valles Marinarra Sauce, or whatever the hell it's called, the Martian Grand Canyon, perfectly. love the subtle greens blended with the rust reds
