Description

Lynell (tennesseecowgirl) told Bruce and I last night that she has asked Piet to place more giraffe images. Seeing that Piet has clearly ran out (smile) - this one's for you Lynell. Thank you for visiting my gallery and for any comments you may wish to leave. Hugs, Carin xx

GREAT .. I am going out with the tallest girls in the Netherlands tomorrow. One day we did a photo shoot with one of them, 6f7 / 2m01 Suzan, and a giraffe (last year) in the Rotterdam Zoo It was GREAT fun. Suus had to look up for the first time in her life to a lady (giraffe)

I think, my dear Carin, that she would have to be very happy with this beautifully shot and elegantly presented animal portrait. My favourite creatures are meerkats [and, yes, they were long before the "Lion King" was released.] I'd establish a colony in the garden if I could. But giraffes are good, too [though not in the garden, I think!] Hugs, Mike xx

I managed to snap a few of these when Alan and I had our Zoo visit last Wednesday, I will see if I can find one worth posting. Mine won't have a backdrop like your's though Carin, how I wish it could, never mind though we got a day out. Superb capture, in it's natural habitat, free to roam about at will, but also in danger of being eaten. Excellent work and dedication. Bravo!!!!!

Question: how do you medically treat a giraffe with a sore throat? A million lozenges? Tea and honey? Salt water? Several bottles of Listerine? Actually, I don't have an answer. Fine composition of the majestic animal, with its neat texture pattern, contrasted against the veldt background foliage, Carin!
