Description

This kudu male was photographed in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The Kudu is one of the larger species of antelope found in Southern Africa. The male's age is determined by the number of turns in its horns. This is a fairly young fella!!! The real old boys can have up to four turns in their horns. Young fella or not, I wouldn't want to be on the sharp end of those horns.Lol. Excellent capture Carin, when I saw the title I though your lunch, but I can see it's his lunch. You managed to get pretty close up to him as well. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Excellent POV and clarity in this amazing capture of an equally amazing animal, Carin! The corkscrew horns could also double as champagne and/or wine bottle openers.
