Description
I tried to grow a camelia bush once, but found that it made me a bit sad. The flowers are so gorgeous for such a short time, then look weather-beaten so quickly, (in this climate anyway!)
This one is in my friend's garden, (and I didn't sneak at all!) but I did think the late afternoon light looked nice on it. Thanks for visiting.
I think the full sized view is better! lol

Nice soft effect in this lovely macro of the demure camellia. I seem to remember you from the past. Is your name Chris?

Lovely capture. This variety does damage easily but some of the newer ones stand quite a lot of rain.

Wonderful photo.

This is beautiful! They do get weatherbeaten so quickly here, don't they? Then you've got brown-edged and moldy flowers on your hands. I love them, but agree with you!

A soft and gentle shot of this blushing beauty. It is always an advantage to have neighbors that can grow things I can't. And even better when they are friendly and don't mind me walking through their yard to take pictures. :-)
