Description

I decided to make a curry this evening, and after I added a good pinch of saffron to the boiling rice pot, I thought it looked lovely dancing around in there! Unfortunately, I had no way of stopping my lens from misting up, and played around for a while with a low simmer, a high simmer, different angles....etc etc. The rice still isn't on, but I like this silly pic anyway! PS. There's plenty, so come and join me!

Gorgeous image! Great play of shapes and color! Playing around with stuff is always fun to, especially when you can get good art out of it...but I wonder, should I quote every mother's admonishment and tell you not to play with your food? Eh...never mind! Great image!

How about no simmer at all? No simmer, no mist. Of course, no bubbles as a result. Actually, I'd love to join you, and I appreciate the invitation, but this dish sounds a bit too esoteric for me. Anyway, nice POV and contrast in this shot, Chris.

Oh gosh, curry is a passion. I love curried chicken, cashew curry chicken, curried lamb, curried anything just about. Oh, and curried shrimp! OOOOOO! I can't afford saffron very often though. this is a wonderful shot. Creative and unique.
