A beautiful shot of a really pretty place. Surprised they haven't taken down that plank bridge because of the nanny state's health and safety rules!!

What a lovely place, and a beautiful photograph! I like the plant bridge, but think I'd go the long way 'round, just to be on the safe side!

I don't think it is a plank bridge but a stone one and there is an old ford crossing there as well, before the road bridge was built the ford was the only way across. I think its great, the ford looks to be intact although the access to it has been fenced to stop cars using it. An idyllic village setting Mick, well it would have been but for the cars but you can't help that. I think it's great leaving the stone footbridge up as well to hell with the HSE(Health & Safety Executive). They weren't around when the bridge was built. Excellent capture mate. I have seen the signs for Stokesley of the A19 but never been, I was always in the wagon. Bravo!!!!!
