Description

I wanted to compare the 2 for quite awhile.I found this 66 at an antique store, and shortly after it was sold.the 07 is mine thanks for viewing and any comments I took this at a high iso to get the details to show because an dark overcast morning.the 66 FJ, the passenger sits on top of the gas tank.Toyota quit selling the FJ in the USA because they did not want to fix them to pass safety laws. I would have rather had the old style yesterdays post could be a moth.I tried to identify it, but have not

no doubt about it for me--the older one...sort of has the lines of the old range rover before they ruined the style of that great vehicle...

Nice comparison of "new" and "old." (I hate to say "old" since I remmeber when 1966 meant "new.")Your usual excellent photography.

Cool photo. (By the way, I wondered if the photo you posted yesterday was a moth. Usually they are less colorful than butterflies, unless it is a Luna moth). Lea

They both look to be speedy machines. I like the sleek lines of the new one. Both great captures.

They both look like fun in their own way. We used an International Travel-All and a Chevy Suburban for a college archaeology field trip years ago. They were both ancient, and rattletraps - but oh were they fun! They hauled a lot of gear, too. The Suburban died on one trip, and we had to leave it in the town before we got to our destination to be worked on - the fuel pump went out. ;o) Oh I think you have the best one here. Honest. lol!
