Description

This was taken on one of my first shoots with my new Nikon D40. This was also the first time I voluntarily set foot in a cemetary! Blame it on one too many bad B-movies growing up. Speaking of TV, let's see who all catches the meaning of that title! :) As for the shot, this cemetary is very old and contains a number of civil war graves (I'll be posting one of those tomorrow). Thanks for looking. Comments and thoughts are always welcome! Spike

Excellent capture! I, myself, am not afraid of cemeteries. The residents are usually very quiet. ;o)

Cool shot! Great atmosphere. The fall foliage makes a perfect background for it.

Title is taken from the episode of Doctor Who where the aliens were angelic statues that could only move when you didn't look at them! One of the best episodes of Doctor Who ever!

Yeah, my wife tells me it's not the residents there I need to worry about. What can I say, though? The lighting and shadows really came together on this shot. I took a fair number that day, but only this one and a few of the civil war graves turned out well enough to post. Of course, I was just getting used to my new camera. Durley, and Wildhunt said, you missed a great episode on that one! Was really creepy for a while, but ended really great to. I liked how they touched on how the Doctor's perspective and another persons may differ due to something happening in his future but your past.
